St Mary's After School Hours Club (SMASH) is a non profit making Club, which runs from the premises of St Mary's Lower School.

The Club is available to all children from 3 to 12 years, irrespective of which School they attend or whether they live in Stotfold.

At present we have children from Henlow, Stanford and Arlesey who use the Club alongside children from Stotfold itself.  The Club aims to provide fun, quality childcare for your children with qualified and friendly staff.

Activities are organised with the safe keeping and abilities and ages of the children borne in mind.  Every effort will be made to run the programme as listed but an occasional change may be necessary if circumstances dictate.

We hope that your child enjoys their time at SMASH.  However, should you have any comments or queries, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of Staff.

Nursery Classes and Schools fall into two groups - State and Private. Most Nurseries will take your child between the ages of 3 and 5 years. They are open throughout the School year and operate a Core Day of 9.00am - 3.30pm. Most offer 5 half-day sessions, although some types of Nursery will offer part-time / full-time places depending on individual needs.

Nursery Schools and Classes have a minimum ratio of 2 adults : 20/26 children. One must be a qualified Teacher and the other a qualified Nursery Assistant.
