Registered Childcare

Local Childcare:
Choosing childcare for your child can sometimes be an exciting and a difficult time for the whole family. It can be difficult to choose between the many choices available for you.  We have therefore tried to include as much information as we can on this site.  However; if we have missed something, please don’t hesitate contacting us either by email, call us or even better pop into the Centre.

All childcare providers are required to use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure that whatever setting parents choose, they can be confident that their child will receive a quality experience that supports their development and learning. Have a look at their website for more information about the EYFS  by clicking on: www.education.gov.uk

From the term after their third birthday, 3 and 4 year old children are currently offered 15 hours of FREE nursery education, over a minimum of three days in a more flexible way for 38 weeks per year.  Families will be able to choose from different combinations of hours which suit their work, training and other family commitments from these providers (subject to availability). The government are reviewing this at the moment and it may increase in he future.

We are happy to provide you with information about your childcare options in the local area and things that you may wish to consider when choosing childcare for your child. Please contact the Setting directly for a Prospectus or to arrange a visit.

The Family Information Service (FYIS) are also available to provide information about a wide range of services for families across Bedfordshire. Have a closer look on their website www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/fyis. It has lots of information for you and your family.
